The name Zurga comes from the famous Opera by Georges Bizet “The Pearl Fishers” (circa 1863). Zurga was unanimously named king of the pearl fishermen of Ceylon, Sri-Lanka.Originally built for Baron Allard of Belgium, to the highest Lloyds standards, the m/y ZURGA has hosted many royal, political and financial personalities. Now, totally rebuilt (from September 2003 to July 2004), she is ready to accommodate even the most demanding clients.
